Snoods

Now is the time to start thinking about knitting a snood for winter using one of our great new super chunky yarns.It looks like snoods are going to be the fashion item to have this season and they also make great Xmas presents. Buy the wool from us and we will give you a free snood pattern.

Great new yarn has just come in, Sirdar Big Bamboo Super Chunky. Reminds me that winter is on the way, and it will soon be time to knit scarves and hats. Hooray!! Still more chunky yarns are due in the shop soon - how exciting!

Chunky Wool

It looks like summer is on the way out and thoughts are turning to knitting again. Scarves, hats and snoods etc. Great new chunky yarns are starting to arrive; all very exciting especially the wonderful new winter colours. Watch this space for new arrivals....

Big weekend for Chelsea but I think it's come too soon for us - just hope it's not embarrassing!

Hope everyone enjoyed the Royal Wedding. As I am sitting here in the shop, I have decided what's required is for us to have a Summer Sale. Next week we will decide which yarns will be included, so watch this space!

Saturday at Cocoon

Another glorious day and a big weekend for Brighton as it is the second marathon on Sunday.

Lots of new Summer yarns have come in to the shop and let's hope we can sell them! It's not helped by the recession, which is really beginning to bite. If only I could get our website to perform better, but I am useless on the computer. If any one needed help, it's me with our web site!

New at Cocoon is Fyberspates Scrumptious DK, a luxury blend of 45% silk and 55% merino wool in big 100g (220m) skeins.

Knit naturally

New at Cocoon is Sirdar Eco Wool DK in three natural shades. In 50g/100m balls, the yarn is spun from 100% undyed wool and only natural products have been used in the processing.

Embrace a little luxury

New at Cocoon this week is Artesano Silk Delight, a blend of 47% Suri alpaca and 53% silk that knits as chunky on 6mm needles. 100g/225m; colours as above plus black.
