Wed 13th. My word it's cold I hope you people out there are thinking about knitting this is certainly the weather for it. Had a positive George Street Traders meeting last night. Hanging baskets and a Sat artist market was the result. We will see what the council have to say. Good see our classes filling up, lot's of interest in people learning to knit and crochet it's good to see. Yet another delivery of Marble chunky, such a popular yarn it's soon gone. Poor Jack's not well hope she is better to tomorrow otherwise it just me,perish the thought.

Wed 23rd Jan. Another cold bleak day at least the buses are running, still to frozen and icey to walk from our house. Jack's day of so have to spend more time in the shop. I feel sorry for the customers not that have been many of them today..., which I must admit makes for a longer day. It looks like a flower shop is going to open in George Street, which will be a welcome addition it's always good to have another independent buisines to the area. The boys in blue are playing tonight, don't hold a lot of hope but good luck anyway. Let's hope for a better day tomorow!!!!!

Tues 22nd, well it seems a long time my last post, but I must admit Sat was a decent day so thank you to all you who braved the elements and visited our shop. Sunday was a bit of a disaster as it snowed all day but there was a siver lining, Chelsea beat Arsenal !!! Monday came and went in a bit of a blur not a great day but the weather is against us, and here we are up to date. Well would you it's snowing again, I have to say Mr Cameron , what with you increase in busines rates and VAT at 20% what chance the small independent shop?

Friay 18 Jan. I must admit it is on days like this When it is difficult to follow Jack's orders and not be grumpy. Snowed all day no customers, sat on my own in an empty shop and I hear the buses have stopped running to where I live so will have to walk home in the snow. On the positive side three made it for Knit and Natter well done ladies. Don't know what will happen tomorow as we have a full class for beginers knitters, I guess we will just have to wait and see what the morning brings. Hope you are all at home knitting!!

Can't believe it's Friday tomorow had to clear up the classroom for the knit and kntter lot and to boot I bet they give me a hard time over the predictable chelsea draw, it's funny how nothing changes All we can hope is the dreaded Emma does not turn up. Still bitterly cold, so come on all you knitters we have lot's of great chunky's get your knit pins out it's a great time for warm scarfs, hats, snooods ect for you, friends and family,go on spoil yourself. Keep your fingers crossed that it does not snow, as nice as it looks it causes chaos in town.
